La Manche

"La Manche" - a story about eternal love and long-awaited happiness. It owes its appearance in the collection to the picture on a common stamp of the 2nd World War. It contains an image of a songbird - a symbol of happiness, peace, love and harmony. Like La Manche itself, the collection combines two mentalities - the modern English style and the sensitive sea line "a la Francais". In the collection, the prints of the original patterns of the first half of the 20th Century are used. The colour scale is as natural as possible while emphasizing discretion and nobility. The colours reflect the colouristic preferences of modern Britain and the proper aura of misty Albion. The fabrics "La Manche" are created in the technique that imitates the hand weaving (handmade). This technique recreates the effect of home-made linen. The threads include natural flax and viscose. Such combination gives fabrics the softness inherent in natural wool. The "La Manche" collection is a beautiful compilation of fabrics for furnishing a cosy English-style home.
