Companion Books
The collection has such a pronounced energy that is able to change the usual views of the interior and the surrounding space. Ar Deco turned out to be considerable and voluminous, that's why it was divided into two complementary books - Ar Deco part 1 and Ar Deco part 2. In fact they can be called companion books. The designs from the first book naturally flow into the second one as a logical continuation and development of the style.
Ar Deco part 1
Ornaments and designs of classic Ar Deco in a modern reading. Distinctive geometric Ar Deco ornaments and scale patterns from Paris and New York in the 1920s. The main fabric of Ar Deco part 1 is a dense but lightweight jacquard with added cotton and stylized damask. The same design is repeated on the companion, a fine organza with lurex and padding. The collection includes fabrics with metallic linen threads adding volume, massiveness and "live" effect.
Ar Deco part 2
Modern images inspired by scientific modernism and aerodynamics, industrial design and futurism. Rounded corners, active lines and knots are the fragments of images of the future. Ar Deco part 2 develops the unified line of the collection by adding rhombuses with rounded corners, flowing lines and intricate weaving. The designs combine large and small details, active knots and waves appear.
